「Don't You Break My Heart Slow」由Vonda Shepherd親自操刀，包辦詞曲。並邀來 Indigo Girls 的 Emily Saliers 助陣，來個二重唱。
這首歌，把戀愛中的女人，忐忑不安、患得患失的心境，表露無遺。
整曲哀怨、悽美又浪漫，雖然感傷，卻有著很迷人的一股氣氛。
其實 Vonda 的聲音，並不特別吸引我。我總覺得稍微尖銳了點，而在高音之處，又有些吃緊。但她寫的歌，真是好聽。看她這麼有才華又這麼努力，於是，被她的「誠意」感動啦。（歌迷多不理性啊！）
倒是插花的 Emily Saliers，低沉厚實又溫柔的嗓音，讓我大為著迷，馬上上網買她的專輯。結果有些失望，曲風偏鄉村，我比較沒興趣，好聽的歌也不太多。可惜了這聲音啊！
