「You've Got A Friend」，由才女Carole King所作，這裡選的是她與好友James Taylor的合唱。
顧名思義，這首歌就是在歌詠「友誼」──人間最深刻、真摯的感情之一。
如何定義朋友呢？
我很喜歡這個：「朋友就是，把你看透了，還能喜歡你的人。」
我有一位超級好朋友，采玟，高中死黨。個性幾乎完全相反：她穩重，我活潑；她有耐心，我急性子；她溫柔隨和，我脾氣固拗；她節儉，我浪費；她有定性；我超善變...
記得大學聯考前，她住在我家，小心謹慎的她，不放棄一分一秒，努力用功。而早不耐煩的我，成天打混。
考前那晚，她不知是緊張過度，還是氣我啷噹，竟然大哭起來，把我和家人都嚇壞了。
至今，我還不知道她為何哭泣，但想起來就覺得好笑。（采玟，別氣哦，真的有些滑稽嘛）
我沒耐性，個性又有些古怪，真難為她。二十多年了，十分不簡單。
她算把我「看透了」，卻不離不棄。她不是「包容」我，而是「接受」我，儘管我犯過那麼多錯誤，儘管有時我是讓人那麼難忍受，教我怎能不珍惜這位老友的情誼？
她個性質樸，注重精神層面的滿足，絲毫不貪戀物質享受──這也是我們唯一類似之處，哈哈！也許就是我們友誼的基礎。
很棒的是，我們都有十分美滿的家庭生活。
現在的她，是國中老師，兩個孩子的媽，小孩乖巧可愛，先生有EMBA頭銜的公司主管，認真負責。人生、事業都春風得意。我為幸福的她感到高興。

我認識很多人，他們朋友非常多，但我一點不羨慕。
我在意的，是像采玟這種值得一輩子交往、「真正的好朋友」。
這種朋友，能夠接受「最真實的你」，不討價還價，不計較什麼。
我是挺懂人性，但我不見得必須喜歡每一種人性～～「弱水三千，我也只取一瓢飲」啊。
